The Private Security Authority, which was established pursuant to the Private Security Services Act 2004, is the statutory body with responsibility for licensing and regulating the private security industry in Ireland.



INDIVIDUAL RENEWALS

LICENCE HOLDERS WHO HAVE LODGED A RENEWAL APPLICATION SHOULD NOTE THAT RENEWAL APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY TAKING 21 DAYS TO PROCESS.

YOU SHOULD ALLOW A PERIOD OF 4 WEEKS BEFORE CONTACTING THE AUTHORITY ABOUT YOUR RENEWAL APPLICATION

LICENCE HOLDERS WHO LODGE A RENEWAL BEFORE THE 9th JANUARY 2012 MAY CONTINUE TO WORK WHILE THEIR APPLICATION IS BEING PROCESSED


APPLICATION FOR DUPLICATE LICENCE AND/OR IDENTITY CARD

FROM THE 1ST MAY 2011 ALL APPLICATIONS FOR DUPLICATE LICENCES AND IDENTITY CARDS MUST BE MADE ON FORM PSA D1/2011 AND BE ACCOMPANIED BY A FEE OF €20.
