They have been published by the Authority for the information of applicants and licence holders. 20 January 2012: Noel Leavy of Noel Leavy & Co. Limited, The Square, Oldcastle, Co Meath was found guilty today of employing unlicensed door supervisors. Judge McMahon convicted Noel Leavy of breaching the Private Security Services Acts, 2004 and 2011. On 15, 16 and 17 January 2012, Inspectors from the Private Security Authority (PSA) carried out a number of inspections of security guard (static) services in Dublin 1. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that only those licensed by the PSA are operating and that individuals are wearing a clearly visible identity badge as legally required.
