Sanctions
The PSA has a range of sanctions at its disposal which are used in securing compliance with the law and allows a proportionate response to
breaches of the legislation. In addition to the possibility of bringing a prosecution where it finds companies or individuals failing to comply with the legislation, the PSA may also take the following actions against a licensee;
(i) revocation of the licence
(ii) suspension of the licence for a specified period
(iii) reprimand
(iv) warning
(v) caution
(vi) advice
