The Appeal Process
Once you have lodged your appeal you are not entitled, unless requested by the Appeal Board, to elaborate in writing on your appeal or make further submissions in writing in relation to the grounds of your appeal any such elaboration will not be considered by the Appeal Board.
The Appeal Board may, of its own volition, request appellants to appear before the Board for an oral hearing of their appeal. In addition, an appellant may request an oral hearing with the Appeal Board at the time of submitting a notice of appeal. However, in accordance with Paragraph 21(2), Schedule 2 of the Private Security Services Act 2004, the Appeal Board, has absolute discretion, in determining whether to conduct an oral hearing in any given case.
An appeal may be withdrawn by notice in writing to the Private Security Appeal Board at the address below or by fax.
